DK Olumofin Foundation Scholarship for Nigerian Undergraduates 2025

The DK Olumofin Foundation is pleased to announce its 2025 scholarship program, aimed at supporting Nigerian undergraduate students in their academic pursuits. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s commitment to fostering education and alleviating financial challenges faced by students across the nation.

Established in honor of Chief Danieles Kubuwaje Olumofin, the Foundation is dedicated to empowering Nigerian youth through educational support. Chief Olumofin, originally from Ikare-Akoko in Ondo State, was a distinguished figure whose legacy continues to inspire excellence and community development.

Award Amount: $500 per recipient

Eligibility Criteria:

    • Applicant must be a Nigerian
    • Must be enrolled in an accredited Nigerian tertiary institution
    • Be available for a video interview with the Foundation’s executor
    • Submission of an essay titled “Why you are deserving of the scholarship”
    • Provision of two references contactable through Mobile phone

Application Process

Interested candidates should:

  1. Essay Submission: Compose a compelling essay detailing why they deserve the scholarship. This essay should reflect personal achievements, challenges overcome, and future aspirations.
  2. References: Provide contact information for two individuals who can vouch for the applicant’s character and academic potential.
  3. Application Submission: Email the essay and reference details to thedkofoundation@gmail.com by December 31, 2024.

Selection Process

The Foundation will review all applications and shortlist candidates based on the merit of their essays and the credibility of their references.

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for a video interview to further assess their suitability for the scholarship.
